Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver in Tamworth to play a key role delivering goods safely and on time. You will operate in a permanent full-time capacity with shift patterns including Tuesday–Saturday, 21:00–00:00.

Responsibilities include complying with hours regulations, vehicle checks, and RDC/trailer swaps. Eligible candidates hold a Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and ideally 6–12 months driving experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) with Driver CPC and Tachograph
• Ideally 6–12 months recent driving experience

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
• Follow health and safety standards and The Highway Code
• Complete vehicle checks regularly
• RDC deliveries 1 or 2 and trailer swaps

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• RDC deliveries 1 or 2 and trailer swaps

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6-12 months recent driving experience
