Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver in Tamworth to join our logistics team. The role focuses on safe, timely deliveries and efficient operation of routes from our Tamworth site.

You will contribute to maintaining high safety and service standards while supporting RDC deliveries. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with a starting pay around £43,000 per year plus shift premiums and overtime.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6-12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and adhere to The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly perform vehicle checks.
• RDC deliveries 1-2 a day.

• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• RDC deliveries 1-2 a day
