Job summary

HireGiant Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to work on trunking routes in Leicester (LE4). The role involves safe operation of a curtain side trailer, accurate paperwork, and delivering to businesses while maintaining high customer service standards.

Required are a HGV1 licence (C+E), CPC and tachograph card; new-pass drivers welcome with training and support provided. PAYE hourly rate £18–£19 with 10–12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Strapping and Reversing competence.
• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided.
• HGV LTD drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses.
• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor.
• No handball, this is a nice haulage role.
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester LE4, this will be trunking work.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses

• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor

• no handball, this is a nice haulage role

• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

• Strapping and Reversing competence

• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided

• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

• 16.00pm

• Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route

• PAYE Pay rate: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour
