Job summary

HireGiant South West Ltd based in Kingswood (Bristol) is hiring an HGV Class 1 night driver for trunk runs to smaller sites in Stoke, Monmouth or Kent. You’ll use a curtain-sided Class 1 vehicle, start between 6pm and 8pm, Mon-Fri, with loads managed by forklift at the site and on arrival.

Expect ongoing night shifts from 6pm to around 4am, with weekly PAYE earnings ranging from £950 to £1150. A stay with a friendly team and good progression opportunities is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• Valid Tachograph and CPC.
• Understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunk runs from Kingswood in Bristol to smaller sites in Stoke, Monmouth or Kent.
• Drive a Class 1 HGV curtain sided vehicle.
• Night shifts starting between 6pm and 8pm, Monday to Friday.
• Vehicle loaded/unloaded by forklift; park and open curtain.

Excellent opportunity for an HGV Class 1 night driver based in Kingswood, Bristol. Trunk runs, Ongoing work, easy online application process. Hiregiant have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver working nights, completing trunk runs from the main site at Kingswood in Bristol and delivering to smaller sites in either Stoke, Monmouth or Kent. 3 nights are a single drop and 2 night you will have 2 drops. You will be driving a Class 1 HGV curtain sided vehicle, completing trunk runs starting between 6pm to 8pm depending on the route, working Monday to Friday. The vehicle will be loaded and unloaded by Forklift for you, so you just need to park up and open the curtain. This is a great opportunity for ongoing Class 1 HGV driving, that has a very good chance of leading to a permanent position, working with an excellent company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• Working Monday to Friday night, starting at 6pm and usually finished by 4am.
• Our drivers earn £950 to £1150 per week PAYE, paid every Friday.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
