Job summary

HireGiant are seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our client in Leicester LE4, specialising in trunking work.

You will deliver general haulage to businesses, drive a class 1 curtain side trailer, and maintain accurate paperwork and top-notch customer service. PAYE rate £18.00-£19.00 per hour, with 10-12 hour shifts depending on route.

Training and support are provided for new LGV1 drivers, and weekly pay is offered with ongoing, consistent work through a reputable company.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Strapping and reversing competence.
• New pass LGV1 drivers welcome; training and support provided.
• HGV LTD drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester LE4, this will be trunking work.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses

• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor

• no handball, this is a nice haulage role

• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

• Strapping and Reversing competence

• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided

• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

• 16.00pm

• Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route

• PAYE Pay rate: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour
