Job summary

HireGiant is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver for an ongoing haulage contract based near Birmingham. This role offers the potential to become a permanent position with a temp-to-perm path and a pay rise on permanent employment.

Shifts generally start around 07:00 with 8–10 hours per day and involve general haulage deliveries across the UK. Ongoing work with weekly pay is available through HireGiant.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months HGV experience.
• Class 2 licence entitlement - CAT C
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Responsibilities

• Making goods deliveries using a HGV1 curtain side vehicle.
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order.
• Completing HGV vehicle checks.
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck.

Class 1Driver - DAY WORK -Guaranteed HGV Work EVERY Week.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Birmingham (b35). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work completing general haulage deliveries across the UK! This is ongoing LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent

The Role:

As a HGV Class 1Driver, you will be:

• Making goods deliveries using a HGV1 curtain side vehicle
• Must have at least 6 months HGV experience.
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting around 07:00am daily - shifts around 8- 10 hours

Requirements:

• Class 2 licence entitlement - CAT C
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern - 07:00 Start

Shift Length - 8-10 hours

Up to £18.00- £20.00 per hour shift dependant (Monday to Friday)
