Position Summary

This full-time Class 1 Driver (Days) position in Uttoxeter offers regular trunking work with a logistics client in Foston, paying £16.69 to £17.80 per hour. Drivers select AM or PM starts, with flexible times and part-time options available. Duties involve transporting goods to customer sites such as NDCs and wholesalers, securing loads, opening and closing curtains, and completing POD paperwork. No manual handling is required.

Choice of AM / PMs / Nights (start time can be flexible). Full-time regular work. No manual work involved.

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our leading logistics client based in Foston.

Our client is able to offer a clean trunking work with HGV Drivers only expected to secure the load and open / close curtains.

Shift Patterns & Working Hours

Shift Patterns / Working Hours + Variety of shift patterns available + Part time Class 1 HGV Drivers welcome.

In addition to the competitive rates outlined below, note that any sixth working shift would be paid at double time premium rate, plus a £75 bonus per 6th shift worked throughout November and December.

Candidate Requirements

• Have a valid Class 1 Driving license
• In date CPC and Tacho card
• Have held your class 1 licence for at least 12 months due to insurance purposes

Responsibilities

• Trunking goods to customers sites (NDCs and wholesalers)
• Opening and closing a curtain
• Ensuring POD paperwork is completed correctly

Pay & Overtime

• Days - £17.87 per hour with paid breaks
• Nights - £19.06 per hour with paid breaks
• Overtime opportunities - ranging up to £23.83 for weekday overtime, and up to £38.13 for weekend overtime
