Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers in the Derby area. We offer year-round trunking and general haulage with a variety of shifts and start windows to suit drivers.

You must have held a Class 1 license for at least 12 months, a valid tachograph card and CPC, and no handball. Competitive hourly rates apply for weekdays, nights, weekends, with multiple time windows to choose from.

Qualifications

• Must have held Class 1 license for minimum 12 months for insurance purposes.
• Tacho card and CPC valid.
• No handball requirements.

Responsibilities

• Undertake trunking work across NDC, RDC and general haulage.
• Work with curtain siders and box trailers.

HGV Class 1 Drivers

Pertemps are working with a well established client based in Derby and are now recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers. Our client is able to offer year round long term trunking and general haulage work.

We have a variety of shift patterns and start windows available to suit drivers.

Shift Patterns and Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday / Sunday to Thursday / Tuesday to Saturday / 4on 4off / Thursday to Monday
• Start times windows to suit drivers

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will:

• Have a held your class 1 license for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes
• Hold an in date Tacho and CPC
• No handball

Class 1 HGV Drivers will:

• Undertake trunking work across both NDC, RDC and general haulage.
• Happy working with both curtain siders and box trailers
• No handball

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will receive:

• Weekdays - £16.93 per hour
• Weeknights - £18.03 per hour
• Saturday days - £20.00 per hour
• Saturday nights - £22.54
• Sunday Days - £25.40 per hour
• Sunday Nights - £27.05 per hour
