Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our leading logistics client based in Foston. You will trunk goods, open/close curtains and ensure POD paperwork is completed correctly.

Shift patterns vary with days and nights; days paid at £17.87 per hour and nights at £19.06 per hour (paid breaks). Overtime rates apply up to £38.13 for weekend overtime and up to £23.83 for weekday overtime. Benefits include pension, holiday pay and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Class 1 Driving license.
• In date CPC and Tacho card.
• Have held your class 1 license for at least 12 months due to insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Trunking goods to customers sites (NDCs and wholesalers).
• Opening and closing a curtain.
• Ensuring POD paperwork is completed correctly.

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our leading logistics client based in Foston. Our client is able to offer a clean trunking work with HGV Drivers only expected to secure the load and open / close curtains.

In addition to the competitive rates outlined the below, note that any sixth working shift would be paid at double time premium rate, plus a £75 bonus per 6th shift worked throughout November and December.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours

The successful Class 1 HGV Driver will:

• Have a valid Class 1 Driving license
• In date CPC and Tacho card
• Have held your class 1 license for at least 12 months due to insurance purposes

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

• Trunking goods to customers sites (NDCs and wholesalers)
• Opening and closing a curtain
• Ensuring POD paperwork is completed correctly

You will receive:

• Days - £17.87 per hour with paid breaks
• Nights - £19.06 per hour with paid breaks
• Overtime opportunities - ranging up to £23.83 for weekday overtime, and up to £38.13 for weekend overtime
