Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for a Derby-based client. Variety of shift patterns and start times available to fit driver needs. Roles involve trunking across NDC/RDC and general haulage with curtain-siders and box trailers.

Tacho and CPC required, with a minimum 12 months Class 1 experience and no handball. Hourly rates vary by shift: Weekdays £16.93, Weeknights £18.03, Saturdays £20.00 (days) / £22.54 (nights), Sundays £25.40 (days) / £27.05 (nights).

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 1 driving licence for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes.
• In date Tacho and CPC are required.
• No handball in duties.

Responsibilities

• Undertake trunking work across NDC, RDC and general haulage.
• Drive using curtain-siders and box trailers as required.

HGV Class 1 Drivers

Pertemps are working with a well established client based in Derby and are now recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers. Our client is able to offer year round long term trunking and general haulage work.

We have a variety of shift patterns and start windows available to suit drivers.

Shift Patterns and Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday / Sunday to Thursday / Tuesday to Saturday / 4on 4off / Thursday to Monday
• Start times windows to suit drivers

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will:

• Have a held your class 1 license for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes
• Hold an in date Tacho and CPC
• No handball

Class 1 HGV Drivers will:

• Undertake trunking work across both NDC, RDC and general haulage.
• Happy working with both curtain siders and box trailers
• No handball

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will receive:

• Weekdays - £16.93 per hour
• Weeknights - £18.03 per hour
• Saturday days - £20.00 per hour
• Saturday nights - £22.54
• Sunday Days - £25.40 per hour
• Sunday Nights - £27.05 per hour
