Pertemps North Midlands seeks HGV Class 1 Driver for its established client near Derby. Based in Crewton, this full-time role offers temporary and permanent contracts paying £18.03 to £27.05 hourly. Various shift patterns exist, including Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday, Tuesday to Saturday, four-on-four-off, and Thursday to Monday, with start windows tailored to drivers. Duties involve trunking across NDC, RDC and general haulage using curtain siders and box trailers. No handball required. Applicants must have held a Class 1 licence at least twelve months for insurance purposes, plus valid Tacho and CPC cards. Year-round long-term work available.

HGV Class 1 Drivers Pertemps are working with a well established client based in Derby and are now recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers. Our client is able to offer year round long term trunking and general haulage work. We have a variety of shift patterns and start windows available to suit drivers.

Shift Patterns and Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday
• 4on 4off
• Thursday to Monday

Start times windows to suit drivers

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will:

• Hold your class 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes
• Hold an in date Tacho and CPC
• No handball

Class 1 HGV Drivers will:

• Undertake trunking work across both NDC, RDC and general haulage.
• Happy working with both curtain siders and box trailers
• No handball

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will receive:

• Weekdays - £16.93 per hour
• Weeknights - £18.03 per hour
• Saturday days - £20.00 per hour
• Saturday nights - £22.54 per hour
• Sunday Days - £25.40 per hour
• Sunday Nights - £27.05 per hour
