Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot to meet customer demand. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off days with start times around 05:00, and the rate of pay is £16.54 per hour plus a weekly £40 shift allowance.

Duties include daily vehicle checks, securing loads, trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, and obtaining customer signatures. Candidates must hold a C+E licence, DigiTacho and CPC, with previous Class 1 experience and good English communication.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, DigiTacho and CPC (in date)
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg
• Clear English communication with team

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report defects
• Verify loaded goods and secure them before movement
• Perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely, compliant manner
• Obtain customer signatures and paperwork before returning to depot
