Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver at the Heywood depot. The role involves trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, strict vehicle checks, and ensuring loads are secure and compliant with regulations.

You will communicate clearly with team members during shifts and with customers on deliveries. We offer a 4 on 4 off system with day shifts, overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours, and a weekly shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a C+E driving licence with a valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Strong English communication ability to interact with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely and legal manner.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to keep the vehicle roadworthy.
• Ensure correct goods are loaded and secured before movement and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Maintain compliance with drivers' hours regulations and road safety requirements.
