Job summary

Lineage Logistics is recruiting a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Peterborough depot. The role is Monday to Friday days with a base pay of £16.54 per hour, paid weekly.

You will perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with drivers’ hours regulations. The ideal candidate holds a C+E licence, a valid DigiTacho and CPC, with previous Class 1 experience and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a C+E driving licence and a valid DigiTacho
• CPC qualification is required
• Clear communication in English is essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law
• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy and report defects
• Verify correct goods loaded and secure before moving vehicle
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers before returning to depot
