Lineage is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver at the Heywood depot to meet growing demand. The role involves trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring vehicle checks, and complying with drivers' hours regulations.

You must hold a C+E licence, DigiTacho and CPC, with prior Class 1 experience; lifting up to 18kg and clear English communication are required. The role offers a 4 on 4 off dayshift with weekly pay including a £40 per week shift allowance.

Formación

• Must have a C+E driving licence, valid DigiTacho, and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot
