Job summary

Barker Ross are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing, full-time role in Nottingham. This is a regular Monday to Friday shift, 10:00am – 8:00pm, with start/finish times varying by operation and no handballing involved.

Successful candidates will drive Class 1 vehicles, deliver palletised goods, complete checks and paperwork, and comply with Health & Safety regulations. An assessment is required at 10:00am tomorrow; start ASAP is available.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD or DR convictions.
• Understanding of driving hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.

Barker Ross are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing, full-time role.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for a regular Monday to Friday shift, with consistent hours and no handballing involved.

The Shift

Monday to Friday

10:00am - 8:00pm

Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on operational requirements, so flexibility is required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering palletised goods - no handballing required
• Ensuring the vehicle and freight are secure at all times
• Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Following all road transport and Health & Safety regulations
• Providing a reliable and professional service at all times

What We're Looking For

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• A valid Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD or DR convictions
• A good understanding of driving hours and road transport regulations
• A reliable and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently

Assessment Required

An assessment is required for this role and will take place at 10:00am tomorrow, Friday 28/08.

Successful candidates will be able to start ASAP.
