Job summary

Barker Ross are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing, full-time role in Nottingham. This is a regular Monday to Friday shift, 10:00am – 8:00pm, with start/finish times varying by operation and no handballing involved.

Successful candidates will drive Class 1 vehicles, deliver palletised goods, complete checks and paperwork, and comply with Health & Safety regulations. An assessment is required at 10:00am tomorrow; start ASAP is available.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD or DR convictions.
• Understanding of driving hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.
• Deliver palletised goods with no handballing.
• Ensure vehicle and freight are secure at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Follow road transport regulations and Health & Safety rules.
• Provide a reliable and professional service at all times.
