Job summary

Barker Ross are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client’s busy operation in Daventry. This Monday to Friday role features early start times between 5:00am and 6:00am and multi-drop deliveries with up to 6 drops per day.

Routes may be local or distance and involve manual unloading with a pump truck and tail lift. You will be customer-facing and need reliable, professional presentation at all times; immediate starts are available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good customer service skills.
• Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and manual unloading.

The Role

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am
• Multi-drop deliveries - up to 6 drops per day
• Routes can be local or distance, depending on the daily schedule
• Deliveries will vary from day to day
• Vehicles are boxed vehicles
• Unloading using a pump truck and tail lift
• Customer-facing role, so good communication and professional presentation are essential
• No assessment required
• Immediate starts available

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on your licence
