• Start times vary: early starts at 01:00-05:00am, normal starts after 05:00am, nights after 21:00-22:00pm.

Job description

Job Overview

We at 3 Recruit Ltd are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Birmingham. Good working conditions and vehicles with no or very little handball (handball defined as cages or pulling an electronic pallet truck) depending on which RDC you are delivering to.

Start Times

• Early starts between 01:00-05:00am
• Normal starts after 05:00am onwards
• Nights after generally 21:00-22:00pm

Responsibilities

The runs will be up to 6 shifts per week leading up to going onto a rota system with an aim of working 5 shifts one week followed by 6 shifts the next depending on the availability of your hours and the client’s requirements. You will deliver to regional distribution centres up and down the country with between 1–4 drops & collections per run.

• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver CPC card

Payment Options

You can be paid either as PAYE or Self‑Employed if you have a “Limited Company” and pass a Status Determination Statement questionnaire. Higher rates of pay are also available for weekends and Bank Holiday working.
