Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a major parcel delivery network in Nottingham (NG6). Afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis with a 12-hour average shift, Monday to Friday, weekend work available.

Pay rates: weekdays £20.34 per hour, overtime after 8 hours £25.25, Saturday £23.52, Sunday £26.25. Rates include holiday pay. Requirements: valid Tachograph and CPC, 12 months Class 1 experience, clean licence (no more than 6 penalty points).

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance, good attention to detail and positive attitude.
• Maximum 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Valid Tachograph and CPC relevant to HGV driving.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Strong customer service skills.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
