Job summary

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Norwich (NR6).

Shifts run 1300-2030, Monday to Friday, with an average 12-hour shift. Main duties include conducting vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet time commitments. Applicants must have Tachograph and CPC, no more than 6 penalty points, and at least 12 months Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Tachograph and CPC.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Drivers shifts:

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12-hour shift
• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour
• *Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
