Job summary

Gi Group UK is actively recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Darlington (DL1). Shifts are Mon-Fri with some weekend work, averaging 12-hour days.

Pay rates include Mon-Fri £20.34 per hour, overtime £25.25 after 8 hours, Saturday £23.52 per hour, Sunday £26.25 per hour, all rates inclusive of holiday pay.

Main duties include conducting vehicle checks, trunking work to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Darlington (DL1).

Drivers shifts:

• (Apply online only) starts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
