Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Class 2 Driver to support our waste management operations in the UK. The role offers £15.16 per hour, 40 hours per week, with weekly pay including a £30 bonus for no infringements, and occasional Saturday work. Start times range 4am–6am, with overtime available, based in Telford.

You’ll drive to planned locations, unload containers and ensure paperwork is up to date, while adhering to site rules and safety protocols. Veolia supports career development and employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Requires Class C (Cat C) licence and up-to-date CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Experience with local area is preferred.
• Driver role based in the UK with scheduled shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty waste containers.
• Deliver/Service Skip/Roll On Roll Off containers.
• Comply with site rules and complete vehicle checks daily.
• Record information in onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Follow traffic laws and keep carriageways clean.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers
• Carrying out Delivery/Service of Skip/Roll On Roll Off containers
• Conform to all applicable site rules when offloading at disposal sites
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads and ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition

What we’re looking for

• Class C (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC Digi / Tachograph card
• Ideally you will have knowledge of the local area
