Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for collections and deliveries, with manual handling responsibilities. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, confirm deliveries via handheld scanners, and complete standard route paperwork.

Applicants should hold a UK Driving Licence with Class 1 entitlement, a valid DCPC and Digi-tacho card, and have around 12 months of commercial driving experience. UK residency and site travel are required.

Location: Liverpool

Pay Rate: £18.33 to £27.50 p/h (O/T after 40 hours)

Bonus: £150 sign up bonus (payable after 12 weeks)

Shifts: Monday to Friday - start time 09:00

Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

About you:

You will have your UK Driving Licence with the providion to drive a Class 1 vehicle and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
