Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking reliable Class 1 drivers to join our Liverpool team for ongoing collections and deliveries with manual handling. You will hold a UK Class 1 licence, Digi-Tacho and DCPC, and have at least 12 months commercial driving experience.

Endorsements DD/TT/DR/CD/IN are not accepted. Rate £18.33–£27.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a £150 sign-up bonus payable after 12 weeks.

Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

About you:

You will have your UK Driving Licence with the provision to drive a Class 1 vehicle and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
