Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for collections and deliveries, with manual handling responsibilities. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, confirm deliveries via handheld scanners, and complete standard route paperwork.

Applicants should hold a UK Driving Licence with Class 1 entitlement, a valid DCPC and Digi-tacho card, and have around 12 months of commercial driving experience. UK residency and site travel are required.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement
• DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required
• At least 12 months experience in commercial driving
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive and ability to manage hours

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle
• Carry out collections and deliveries
• Manual handling for loading/unloading
• Delivery confirmations using handheld scanners
• Complete route paperwork and pre/post-journey vehicle checks
