Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking reliable Class 1 drivers to join our Liverpool team for ongoing collections and deliveries with manual handling. You will hold a UK Class 1 licence, Digi-Tacho and DCPC, and have at least 12 months commercial driving experience.

Endorsements DD/TT/DR/CD/IN are not accepted. Rate £18.33–£27.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a £150 sign-up bonus payable after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence valid for Class 1 vehicle.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience required.
• Digi-Tacho card and DCPC in place.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle.
• Carry out collections and deliveries.
• Manual handling for loading/unloading.
• Deliveries confirmations using hand-held scanners/devices
• Complete standard route paperwork
• Pre- and post-route vehicle checks
