Job summary

Driver Hire South East London is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our growing team. You will drive an Arctic with a trailer, performing multi-drop deliveries to commercial and trade customers on a Monday to Friday schedule, starting at 6:00am.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate paperwork, all while delivering excellent customer service and upholding the company’s professional image.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C) licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Knowledge of driving regulations and road safety.
• Physically fit with ability to lift and handle loads.
• Able to complete long-distance and multi-drop routes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Driver Hire South East London Class 1 HGV Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 1 HGV Driver to join our growing team.

Position Details: Driving an Arctic with a trailer

Monday to Friday

Start time: 6:00am

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-drop deliveries to commercial and trade customers.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
• Completing long-distance delivery routes as required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times and representing the company professionally.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
