Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for an ad-hoc basis at our Avonmouth depot. Role involves refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to stores and shops, with tail-lift handling and occasional cage deliveries. Shifts available mornings, afternoons and nights with flexible days.

Immediate starts after assessment and induction. Competitive pay rates with day, night, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday premiums. Free onsite parking available on-site.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• UK driving licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi and CPC card holders.
• Immediate start for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Drive with-in WTD and EU regs.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain highest levels of customer service and on-time orders.

The role involves cage deliveries and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

Shifts available:

• MORNINGS, AFTERNOON, NIGHTS
• Any days of the week to work, 2,3,4 or 5 shifts available.

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 3Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Immediate start for successful candidates
• Free onsite secured colleague car parking
