Elite CLS LTD is seeking reliable Class 1 HGV drivers for night shifts to safely collect and deliver goods to customer sites and distribution centres. The role requires strict adherence to drivers' hours and tachograph regulations, with loads secured and paperwork completed accurately.

We offer regular work with professional transport office support, competitive rates of pay, and flexible shifts including days and nights. Location: various locations in the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following drivers' hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations.

• Loading and unloading where required.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport office.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our nighshift team. The role involves the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods to customer sites and distribution centres.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Class1 Driver:

• Driving Class 1 (Category C+E) articulated vehicles.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following drivers' hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations.
• Securing loads correctly and safely.
• Loading and unloading where required.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport office.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements of the Class 1 HGV Driver:
