Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is recruiting drivers for agency-based trunk runs and trailer swaps across the UK. The role requires a Full C+E license, Digi Card and full CPC, with at least six months’ experience for insurance purposes.

You will work on set hub routes, communicate with the transport office and follow Health and Safety policies. Timed drops, WTD compliance, and varied start times are part of the schedule with several start dates over the next weeks.

Qualifications

• C+E entitlement and Digi Card are mandatory.
• Full CPC is required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills are essential for coordinating with hubs and transport office.

Responsibilities

• Trunk runs and trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Communicate with transport office to coordinate handovers.
• Complete all paperwork in an orderly manner.
• Work to Working Time Directives (WTD) rules.
• Set runs with timed drops, Monday to Friday with varied start times.
• Start dates will be staggered over the coming weeks.
• Agency role with non-guaranteed weekly work.

Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Edinburgh (EH12)

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To communicate with transport office
• To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
• To work to all WTD rules
• Set runs with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times
• Start dates various over the next few weeks
• This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

• Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
• Minimum 6 months experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills required.
• No DD, DR, IN's and no more than 6 points on your license.
• We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.

PAY RATES

PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
