Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is seeking class 1 drivers for UK-wide trunk runs and trailer swaps. The role involves set routes with timed drops, Monday to Friday, with starts between 1:00 PM and midnight. Agency work is available but not guaranteed every week. A Digi Card and CPC are required, and only applicants with a clean license (no more than 6 points) will be considered.

Uniform and in-house CPC training are provided at a reduced cost. PAYE pay rates range from £18.50 to £20.73 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) license with Digi Card and CPC.
• At least 1 year driving experience.
• Good communication skills required.
• No more than 6 points on license.

Responsibilities

• Trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide.
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
• Communicate with transport office.
• Complete all paperwork in an orderly manner.
• Work to all WTD rules.
• Set run with timed drops, Mon-Fri, starts between 13:00 and 00:00.
• Start dates vary over the next few weeks.

Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Sheffield (S9)

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To communicate with transport office
• To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
• To work to all WTD rules
• This is a set run with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times between 13.00pm and 00.00am
• Start dates various over the next few weeks
• This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

• Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
• 1 Years' experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills required.
• No DD, DR, IN's and no more than 6 points on your license.
• We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.

PAY RATES

• PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
• PAYE drivers only
