Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is recruiting class 1 drivers for afters/nights based in Edinburgh (EH12) to work on trunk runs and trailer swaps for a national blue‑chip client. On average 3–4 swaps per shift with no manual handling involved.

Agency work, with start dates varying over the coming weeks. Requires full C+E, Digi Card and CPC; clean licence (no DD/DR/IN, max 6 points) and good communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full C+E license, Digi Card and CPC required.
• Good communication skills essential for liaison with transport office.
• No DD/DR/IN offences; max 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Communicate with transport office regularly.
• Complete all paperwork in an orderly manner.
• Work to Working Time Directive rules.
• Set runs with timed drops; Monday to Friday shifts.
• Start dates vary over the coming weeks.

Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Edinburgh (EH12)

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To communicate with transport office
• To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
• To work to all WTD rules
• Set runs with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times
• Start dates various over the next few weeks
• This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

• Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
• Minimum 6 months experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills required.
• No DD, DR, IN's and no more than 6 points on your license.
• We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.

PAY RATES

PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
