Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is recruiting class 1 drivers to operate out of Sheffield (S9) on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients. Expect 3 to 4 trailer swaps with no manual handling. The role involves trunk runs to set hubs nationwide and adherence to Health & Safety policies.

You'll communicate with the transport office, complete paperwork, and work to WTD rules. It is a set run with timed drops, Monday to Friday, with start times between 13:00 and 00:00.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full C+E licence, DIGI card and CPC.
• 1 year driving experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills essential.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/IN convictions.

Responsibilities

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Sheffield (S9)

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To communicate with transport office
• To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
• To work to all WTD rules
• This is a set run with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times between 13.00pm and 00.00am
• Start dates various over the next few weeks
• This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

• Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
• 1 Years' experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills required.
• No DD, DR, IN's and no more than 6 points on your license.
• We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.

PAY RATES

• PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
• PAYE drivers only
