Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 driver for our Gillingham depot. You will drive Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, perform daily vehicle checks, and support the Transport Managers to keep operations running smoothly.

Shift pattern is Monday–Friday days, with overtime paid after 39 hours at time and a half. This is a permanent role with onsite parking and a commitment to wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months Class 1 driving experience and a valid Class 1 license.
• Full valid Driving Licence and Digi-Tacho holder, DQC card holder.
• Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
• Comfortable with night shifts and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles as part of the role.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects per policy.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure loads are secured and paperwork signed with customers.
• Maintain tachograph compliance and hours-of-service limits.
• Assist Transport Managers to keep operations running smoothly.
