Job summary

Lineage is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at the Gillingham depot. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and compliance with tachograph regulations while working Monday to Friday days. A valid Class 1 licence and Digi-Tacho are essential.

We offer an hourly rate of £16.19 up to 39 hours per week with overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours. This is a permanent opportunity with a direct employer and a chance to work in a highly automated logistics

Qualifications

• At least 12 months Class 1 driving experience & valid Class 1 licence.
• Full valid Driving Licence and Digi-Tacho holder, DQC card holder and Driver CPC.
• Good driving skills and comfort with night shifts.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Transport Managers to ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy with daily checks.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries safely and timely.
• Operate manual and pallet pump truck as required.
• Drive safely in accordance with the law and tachograph rules.
• Ensure correct goods are loaded and secured.
• Record deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
