Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 driver with Class 2 experience for our Gillingham depot. You will drive, perform daily vehicle checks, and deliver across multiple drops, adhering to tachograph and road regulations.

We offer a permanent role with a direct employer, an hourly rate of £16.19 for up to 39 hours per week and overtime at time-and-a-half, with benefits including free onsite parking and access to employee support.

Qualifications

• 12+ months Class 1 driving experience and a valid Class 1 license.
• Digi-Tacho holder and Driver CPC (DQC card).
• Good driving skills with knowledge of Road Transport Regulations.
• Comfortable with night shifts and strong communication abilities.
• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to operate tail lift and PPT when required.

Responsabilités

• Support Transport Managers to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Drive Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles as part of the role.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries safely and on time.
• Operate tail lift and PPT when required.
• Drive within tachograph law and driver hour limits.
• Ensure goods loaded are correct and secured.
• Record deliveries with customer signatures.
• Attend vehicle inspection rota and DCPC training as needed.
• Maintain DCPC training hours within the five-year period.
