Job summary

Davies Group in Liverpool seeks a Team Leader to manage a claims handling team in our Liverpool office. You will mentor staff, ensure targets and deadlines are met, and drive ongoing improvement across processes.

The role requires experience in EL/PL claims, strong leadership, and the ability to balance client expectations with regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and coaching skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience handling EL/PL claims and litigation.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
• Knowledge of SRA guidelines and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop handlers to achieve targets within agreed timelines.
• Manage performance against KPIs and SLAs with improvement plans.
• Provide coaching and training needs assessments for staff.
• Support client auditing activities and deadlines.
• Handle performance issues via improvement plans and feedback.
• Monitor workload and allocate files to team members.
• Foster a motivated, collaborative team environment.
• Drive continuous improvement and regular audits.
