Job summary

Lloyd's Syndicate is seeking an experienced Claims Operations Manager to lead governance, operational controls, and data-driven improvements across Claims Operations in the City of London. You will optimise processes, manage regulatory requirements, and embed risk-aware practices across the function.

In this broad role you will oversee vendor onboarding, subrogation and recoveries, audits, and performance reporting; collaborating with Claims leadership, Finance and Compliance to deliver higher

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in claims operations and governance.
• Experience with TPA/vendor management and outsourced service providers.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop governance frameworks across Claims Operations.
• Maintain oversight of claims operational audits and regulatory requirements.
• Support SOX and audit deliverables and governance obligations.
• Lead remediation from audits and control testing.
• Drive claims optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce leakage.
• Lead learning initiatives to enhance technical capability and performance.
• Build relationships with Claims leadership, Finance and Compliance.
• Oversee subrogation, recoveries and vendor onboarding.
• Monitor third‑party performance and ensure SLAs are met.
• Produce MI and reporting on vendor performance, recoveries and risk.
