Job summary

4th Dimension Innovation is seeking a CMT Claims Handler to join the Claims Management Team in Egham Thorpe, helping riders get back on the road with confidence. You will manage a caseload of First Party and Third Party motor claims from first contact through to settlement, ensuring clear communication and adherence to our claims philosophy.

Hours are 37.5 per week with hybrid working—3 days onsite, 2 days from home—after an initial 4–6 week on-site training.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
• Ability to simplify complex issues for customers and keep them informed.
• Strong understanding of hierarchy and escalation protocols.
• Comfortable managing a busy caseload with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of First Party and Third Party claims, progressing each case towards settlement.
• Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails and letters to move the claim forward.
• Screen incoming claims for fraud indicators and risk factors, escalating when needed.
• Use desktop tools (MIAFTR, CUE, MID, DVLA, etc.) to support claims decisions.
• Liaise with specialist suppliers such as field investigators and engineers.
• Update reserves and NCB at the appropriate stage of each claim.
• Work within personal authority limits and refer upwards when exceeded.
• Offer customers alternatives to claiming directly from their policy where appropriate.

Are you a natural problem-solver who thrives on turning a stressful situation into a smooth resolution? 4th Dimension Innovation is looking for a CMT Claims Handler to join our Claims Management Team in Egham Thorpe, helping riders get back on the road with confidence.

You’ll report to the CMT Team Leader, managing a caseload of motorcycle claims from first contact through to settlement — keeping things moving, keeping customers informed, and keeping our claims philosophy front and center.

Main Duties

• Manage a caseload of First Party and Third Party claims, progressing each case towards settlement
• Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails and letters in the way that best moves the claim forward
• Screen incoming claims against fraud indicators and risk factors, escalating for further investigation where needed
• Use desktop tools (MIAFTR, CUE, MID, DVLA, etc.) to support claims decisions
• Liaise with specialist suppliers such as field investigators and engineers
• Update reserves and NCB at the appropriate stage of each claim
• Work within agreed personal authority limits, referring upwards where activity exceeds them
• Offer customers alternatives to claiming directly from their policy where commercially appropriate

The Essentials

• Salary: £24,500–£26,000
