Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Cardiff are seeking an experienced Civils Technician for a contract role. You will produce detailed civil and infrastructure drawings, with a focus on highways and drainage, supporting a busy team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years UK experience, strong Civils 3D and AutoCAD, and be comfortable visiting sites and liaising with contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' UK civil/ multi-disciplinary consultancy experience.
• Produce detailed civil and infrastructure drawings for highways and drainage.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Civils 3D and AutoCAD are essential; MicroDrainage/Flow is a plus.

Civil Technician - Contract

Cardiff

£33.00-£36.00 per hour (Outside IR35)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civils Technician to join our client's busy Cardiff office on a contract basis.

Following a number of exciting project wins, the team is looking to appoint someone immediately, with the potential for the contract to become a permanent position for the right person.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' UK experience within a civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy and will be confident working across multiple projects. The role will involve producing detailed civil and infrastructure drawings, particularly relating to highway and drainage design, while working closely with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.

Strong Civils 3D and AutoCAD skills are essential, and experience with packages such as MicroDrainage and Flow would be an advantage.

There will be opportunities to attend site, monitor progress and liaise with contractors and clients to help resolve any issues that arise.
