Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Civils Technician for our Cardiff office on a permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality civil drawings for highways and drainage projects, with a strong emphasis on site visits and collaboration with engineers, architects, clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancies and be proficient in Civil3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Strong proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with MicroDrainage and Flow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality civil engineering drawings with emphasis on highways and drainage design.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and contractors to support project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, resolving technical challenges as they arise.
• Contribute to a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects and help grow the firm’s long-term capabilities.
