Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking an experienced Civils Technician to join our Cardiff office on a permanent basis. You will deliver high-quality civil engineering drawings for infrastructure projects, with a focus on highways and drainage design.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' UK experience in civil engineering, strong proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and be comfortable working with engineers, architects and clients on site visits and project delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' UK experience within civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Produces high-quality civil engineering drawings with a focus on highways and drainage design.
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential; MicroDrainage and Flow experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civils Technician to join our client's thriving Cardiff office on a permanent basis. With a strong pipeline of exciting project wins and continued growth, this is a fantastic time to become part of an established and ambitious civil engineering team.

Our client is seeking a talented technician with at least 3 years' UK experience within a civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects, producing high-quality civil engineering drawings with a particular focus on highways and drainage design.

Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential, while experience with MicroDrainage and Flow would be a welcome advantage. Working closely with engineers, architects, clients and contractors, the role will offer plenty of variety, technical involvement and opportunities to contribute to successful project delivery. Site visits, monitoring progress and helping resolve technical challenges will also form part of this rewarding position.
