Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Civils Technician for our Cardiff office on a permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality civil drawings for highways and drainage projects, with a strong emphasis on site visits and collaboration with engineers, architects, clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancies and be proficient in Civil3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Strong proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with MicroDrainage and Flow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality civil engineering drawings with emphasis on highways and drainage design.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civils Technician to join our client’s thriving Cardiff office on a permanent basis. With a strong pipeline of exciting project wins and continued growth, this is a fantastic time to become part of an established and ambitious civil engineering team.

Our client is seeking a talented technician with at least 3 years’ UK experience within a civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects, producing high-quality civil engineering drawings with a particular focus on highways and drainage design.

Strong proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD is essential, while experience with MicroDrainage and Flow would be a welcome advantage. Working closely with engineers, architects, clients and contractors, the role will offer plenty of variety, technical involvement and opportunities to contribute to successful project delivery. Site visits, monitoring progress and helping resolve technical challenges will also form part of this rewarding position.
