Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Civil Engineer for a Bristol-based hybrid contract. The role requires 4-5 years in infrastructure design and will focus on drainage, highways and earthworks across residential, commercial and industrial developments.

You will deliver designs, produce drainage and SDA designs, and coordinate with other disciplines using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage. Office presence three days per week is required.

Qualifications

• Around 4-5 years' experience within civil engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong design experience across drainage, highways and/or earthworks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience using InfoDrainage.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline would be preferred.
• Able to work from the Bristol office three days per week.

Civil Engineer

Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)

Rate: £40-£45 per hour

Contract Length: Initial 6 months

Are you a Civil Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design looking for your next contract opportunity in Bristol?

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join an established consultancy team on an initial 6-month contract.

The role will suit a hands-on engineer with around 4-5 years' experience who is comfortable working across a range of civil engineering design disciplines. You will be involved in a varied workload across residential, commercial, industrial, warehouse and laboratory developments.

This is a design-focused position with a particular emphasis on drainage, highways and earthworks. The team works closely together in the office, so you will need to be comfortable working from the Bristol office a minimum of three days per week.
