Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our infrastructure and drainage team in Witney, Oxfordshire. You will contribute from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and delivery on a range of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include designing drainage systems for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, producing drawings and reports, using CAD/Civils 3D and drainage software, and liaising with clients and authorities to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience in civil engineering consultancy.
• Good understanding of infrastructure design principles including drainage.
• Experience using CAD, Civils 3D, microdrainage or Infodrainage software.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proactive and keen to develop your engineering career.
• Experience on development-related infrastructure projects and knowledge of drainage standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare infrastructure designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Design surface water and foul drainage systems and related calculations.
• Produce technical drawings, design reports and supporting documentation.
• Use design software to develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support project delivery and manage design tasks to meet deadlines.
