Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a civil design engineer in Northampton to work on underground drainage and drainage strategy development within a multidisciplinary team on projects up to £40m, with hybrid working.

You will oversee graduate engineers, mentor the team, and prepare drainage strategies and verification reports. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage is required, along with 5 years' civil drainage experience.

Qualifications

• A civil engineering qualification with at least 5 years' experience.
• Experience designing below-ground foul and surface water drainage.
• Ability to manage deadlines and organise workload.
• Oversee technical work of graduates and junior engineers.
• Write detailed drainage strategies and verification reports.
• Strong SuDS knowledge and flood risk assessment experience.
• Familiar with MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage.
• Experience with highways drainage interactions.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Competent in AutoCAD drawings.

Responsabilités

• Oversee technical work of graduate and project engineers.
• Lead training and mentoring within the drainage team.
• Prepare drainage strategies and verification reports.
• Liaise with local authorities and flood authorities.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings for drainage schemes.
• Ensure designs meet SuDS and highways requirements.
