Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is looking for a Project Civil Engineer in London to lead infrastructure and drainage design from concept through to completion. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on civils-led and integrated projects across residential, commercial, data centres, schools and hospitals.

The role focuses on drainage strategies, SuDS, and infrastructure layouts, with collaboration across architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years' experience in a UK consultancy environment.
• Experience in drainage design, highways and infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or similar software.
• Working towards ICE Chartership or on the path to chartership.

Responsibilities

• Producing drainage strategies, SuDS design, and infrastructure layouts.
• Supporting Flood Risk Assessments and pre-planning reports.
• Delivering below-ground drainage and external works design.
• Coordinating with architects, structural engineers and stakeholders.
• Managing projects and client communications.
• Mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
