Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a capable civil design engineer to join a collaborative team, delivering drainage, highways, earthworks and site development from concept through construction.

You’ll apply Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage on varied projects across residential, commercial, industrial and data-centre sectors, while ensuring compliance with UK standards and supporting project meetings and technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil design within consultancy.
• Strong understanding of UK standards and regulations.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience across residential, commercial, industrial or data-centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering designs from concept to construction.
• Design drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects and contractors.
• Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Support site inspections and respond to technical queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design improvements.
