Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB in Cambridge is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join a respected consultancy. The role involves delivering development infrastructure across Cambridge and the wider UK, with a focus on highways and drainage design and ensuring high technical quality.

You will work within a collaborative team, taking ownership of projects and mentoring junior engineers while liaising with clients and authorities to deliver coordinated infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Consultancy experience delivering UK development infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in highways and drainage design for residential and commercial developments.

Responsibilities

• Designing highways and drainage infrastructure including S38, S278, S104 agreements, SuDS, earthworks and site levels.
• Producing detailed infrastructure designs using Civil 3D together with InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar software.
• Working closely with architects, planners, clients and local authorities to deliver coordinated engineering solutions.
• Managing projects through planning and detailed design while ensuring technical quality and programme delivery.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
• Working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality development infrastructure projects.
